Eco Lodge, Retreat Center and Intentional Community

We are currently looking for individuals and organizations to help us establish a nature heritage foundation and small intentional community. There is also an option to purchase or lease some land, and employment and volunteer opportunities. Please contact us for more information.

Our family has owned and managed the 60 acre Balenbouche Estate guesthouse, farm and heritage site for over 3 generations. The property includes a 180 year old Plantation house, 18th century sugar mill, 6 guest accommodations, organic farm, small stream, and two secluded beaches. For the past 3 decades, our focus has been on eco tourism, farming, self-sufficiency, yoga and wellness, and simple, low impact living. We are welcoming others to join us in creating a small intentional community based on those principles.

Primary interests: Sustainable farming, renewable energy, self-sufficiency, sustainable building, homeschooling
