João Felipe Herrero

Associação Permacultural Jacutinga do Caparaó

Sou João Felipe, 28 anos. Amo as plantas, guardião de sementes. Sou designer de interiores, e penso na casa como uma extensão do nosso corpo. Sou permacultor, e viajo buscando sobre formas de habitar de menor impacto. Fotógrafo e desenhista por natureza e querer que as coisas sejam mais belas.

Em 2017 fundamos a Associação Permacultural Jacutinga do Caparaó. Nossa comunidade fica ao lago do Rio dos Veados, Serra do Caparaó, Espirito Santo, hoje formada por 14 familias.

Somos um grupo de estudos e práticas em tecnologias para a transição. Entendemos como transição o processo de mudança pelo qual a humanidade deve passar para seguir existindo de maneira sã.

Compartilhamos da idéia de que é necessária a regeneração de muitos ecossistemas hoje em desequilíbrio. Pensando-nos a nós mesmos como parte indissociável do todo.

Propomos uma observação integral que nos permita atuar desde especificidades e adaptações locais necessárias. Queremos atuar compartilhando e trocando com comunidades locais e globais afins.

We founded the Associação Permacultural Jacutinga do Caparaó in 2017, now we are 14 families in this group. We are located in the Caparaó region, in the state of Espirito Santo, Brazil. We are agroforesting an area of 6 hectares, in a land of 12 hectares, and our intention is to create a permacultural school in this area. As a solution-based, multi-stakeholder alliance, GEN provides information, tools, examples, and representation to the expanding global network dedicated to demonstrating principles and practices of sustainability in their lifestyles and communities.
