Dr Rajbhandari is professor of sustainable agriculture at HICAST, Purbanchal University, Kathmandu, Nepal. He has initiated establishing and promoting sustainable ecovillages in Nepal employing holistic transformation approach with engagement of local communities.

Primary interests: Social (Diversity & Cohesion, Leadership & Governance); Integral Design (Contextualised Design); Ecology (Green Building, Renewable Energy & Transport, Ecosystem Restoration, Water Cycles); Economy (Social Entrepreneurship, Sharing & Collaboration, Planetary Boundaries)
