Badilisha is a community center based in Rusinga Island in Lake Victoria Region of Kenya. Since 2008, the center has managed to grow to offer various PDC training and support local community to learn about local food production, resource management, sustainable living, renewable and appropriate technology. Currently, the center has grown and has seen many farmers who were part of our training becoming full permaculture converts and adherents. The center has a catholic interest in the restoration of important biodiversity areas and fragile ecosystems like degraded hilltops, indigenous forest land which has faced destruction over the years and also transitioning villages to Agro-forestry. More on our current work can be seen at www.rusinga.webnode.com
