The reasons for developing the Inla Kesh Project are to investigate and demonstrate community solutions to the problems of how to create peace in ourselves and with others, how to live sustainably, using appropriate technologies, materials and local knowledge to provide solutions that are available to people and communities anywhere in the world. The idea is to create a sustainable way of life in which the needs of intercultural human settlements with different visions of the world and of Nature
