What we do

Unity is an intentional co-living community focused on sustainability & spirituality. Our objective is to demonstrate that a more conscious way of life is possible including in an urban environment. We are a bunch of happy people (ticos & foreigners from all over the world) helping each other to grow on the spiritual path and trying to be as self-sufficient as possible in the urban jungle. We have a garden where we grow our own veggies according to the permaculture principles and also a yoga room where we organise events, give yoga classes, conferences…
We are looking for like-minded people to join our community. Are you interested in spirituality? Permaculture? Sustainability? Healthy lifestyle?
Come on board, dream with us and add your grain of salt!

Ecovillage Design Education-2017

‘Eco Village Design Education’ conducted at Siddharth Village, Odisha, India is a transforming experience. The course is designed with EDE mandala as base, integrating the ‘World view’, ‘Social’, ‘Economic’ and ‘Ecology’ dimensions. ‘World view’ and ‘Social’ dimensions are process oriented. They set a stage for questioning long held perspectives about life, oneself and the world around. This in turn may lead to experiencing changes ‘here and now’. Relaxation and meditation techniques, exercises to manifest desires and so on, facilitate participants to experience the incredible connection between mind and matter/body, mind and energy systems. All this happens in an appropriate and relaxed pace. Conflict transformation in social dimension is learnt in experiential. Participants will have an opportunity to live in an ecovillage of indegenous people and imbibe their wisdom. Permaculture in ecology dimension of the course integrated with above mentioned dimensions is highly practical, equipping one with the knowledge, skill and appropriate attitude. Fun is a part of the course but learning takes place in depth. Set in an ambience of simplistic luxury, the course is a treasure house of the wisdom of EAST. G.John

Sociocracy Leadership Training

SoLT is an innovative way of learning sociocracy. Think of it as an immersion program in a ‘pop-up’ organization. SoFA provides the framework for that organization. That way, people interested in sociocracy can join SoLT and learn by doing what sociocracy feels like. Imagine you wanted to learn rowing – and then you attend a workshop where you never sit in a boat. This is different in SoLT. We provide boats for people so they can learn and do and practice at the same time. We’re right next to you for every step, while you grow more and more confident and skilled. Within 12 weeks, we will tell you all you need to know to be part of a successful, well-grounded sociocratic organization. Watch the video below to hear more https://youtu.be/_4ELOmKfUdY
