What we do

Co-create & live inter-generational, open, richly diverse and responsive places to meet the needs emerging from the crises that afflict us; places that are autonomous and self‑sufficient, for food & energy, then fiber and other materials, for our health & education, while fully respecting the ecology of the planet and human relations.
Reclaime and regenerate homes, land and villages, cultivate the land with agro‑ecological approaches, without external inputs, aiming to get as close as possible to 100 per cent self-sufficiency in food, energy, and other needs. Food self-sufficiency is a fundamental priority that shall also leave room for the other dimensions of being and well-being.
Reduce dependence on the monetary system to a minimum, valuing approaches of gift economy, financial co-responsibility, barter. Open to the outside world, we work actively for the transformative changes needed to overcome the interconnected climate, ecological, geopolitical, social crises, and to accommodate those who will seek refuge from the devastations to come.
Create vital spaces and realising resilience dynamics, ready to welcome people of all origins and needs, in search of support and sustenance, and meaning. Networking with those with similar goals.
Create person-centred, empathic, nonviolent and non-directive learning and living spaces for growth, for babies, children, adolescents and adults.
Activate educating communities with a dynamic ‘non-school’ approach, inspired by – for example – Maria Montessori, Paulo Freire, democratic schools, Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Empathic Communication.
Explicitly and intentionally co-create the dialogical systems that support our functioning based on shared agreements: decision-making, resource distribution, feedback, tension and conflict transformation systems, etc.
