EKUMAL VILLA DUENDES (DMT)

EKUMAL holds a Binational designation under two regional networks: CASA LATINA (Council of Sustainable Settlements of Latina America) and GENNA (Global Ecovillage Network North America). As a Sanctuary between worlds, it unifies the movement of DMT (Derechos de la Madre Tierra / Rights of Mother Earth) in what the indigenous peoples call “Turtle Island”.
Ekumal is a multiverse – allowing any kind of experience design in a safe and sacred space – while inviting you to create truly transformative experiences in the heart of the Mexican jungle.
We are a host site for Gaia Education’s EDE and ToT programs, which are SDG Alliance Associated with UN ECOSOC Consultative Status under the United Nations Department of Global Communications.
We welcome and offer overnight guests, retreats, events, collaborations, ceremonies, workshops, and a community inviting all sustainable-seeking souls to the mission of preserving nature and conserving wildlife.
Our Economy Dimension is a combination of ancient techniques of conservation facilitated by modern decentralized financings like NFTs and Crypto.
In addition to our ecological lifestyle, Ekumal has fully emerged into the social movement against plastic pollution of our oceans and beaches. With beach clean-ups & new volunteers every day, we are growing a network of enthusiastic collaborators aiming toward saving marine life and land biodiversity.
We host several events that resonate with our principles of protecting and helping the environment. It is a space to share ceremonies and enjoy a great experience together. The grander vision concerns 1300 hectares of land. We want to protect it and conserve it as well as its biodiversity and wildlife!
