In the middle of Moldovan Codru , surrounded by all sides with forest is located an ecovillage called “Schastlivoeâ€.
We are a community of young, active individuals who strive to build a sustainable lifestyle, where a modern human being can live and work of full value. In order to achieve this we have organized an ecovillage where we aim to unite the best developments of technical world with beauty and abundance of primordial Nature, in harmony and with no disturbance to natural life cycles.
From our point of view and long-lasting practice the most productive and fair form of administration is Veche, a meeting where all communal decisions are being put forward, discussed and finalized only upon achieving full unanimity. We hold weekly meetings and build our decision-making strategy only through Veche.
For us art is the voice of soul. We have a strong group of bards – we write and sing songs, play different instruments, give concerts, make clothes and various craftworks from natural materials. Besides this most villagers already cultivate their eco gardens, keep bees, breed decorative fish and pure-bred animals. We understand that the prosperity of every single family depends on the progress of ecovillage in whole and vice versa.
In ecovillage “Schastlivoe†we have busy social life. We hold activities like Sunday school, communal work day, bard group in the village and weekly club meetings in Chisinau in order to promote the concept of establishing eco villages as a way of life were in practice are realized the ideas of organic farming, alternative energy, rational and humane attitude to the world and etc.
