Welcome to Saraswati Ahimsa Vana, the Wisdom Forest, a hidden paradise in the Amazon Jungle. We’re a diverse community that follows Vedic principles and have a shared vision of protecting part of the Amazonia rainforest through our natural reserve and organice farm, and strive towards teaching foreign visitors about simple living and high thinking.
We engage in several social and ecological projects such as reforesting parts of the Amazon jungle, volunteering and ecotourism. Our overall mission through these projects and those we welcome to visit our community is to spread knowledge on sustainable living and create a better future for Ecuador.
Our community is based on the following five principles:
Teach others about the importance of the environment and how they can help save rainforests.
Restore damaged ecosystems by planting trees on land where forests have been cut down.
Encourage people to live in a way that doesn’t hurt the environment.
Establish beautiful reserves to protect the rainforest and wildlife.
Support companies that operate in ways that minimize damage to the environment.
If you would like to help Mother Earth and live a life that is more sustainable whilst appreciating the beauty of the Ecuadorian rainforest, we welcome you.
Volunteers welcome,
