For those who were not there, we have had an inspiring and fruitful meeting in Keuruu last month with 130 people, the biggest meeting we have ever had. Big thanks to Keuruu for hosting us all and stretching to the limits of your capacity to accommodate us.
I would like to let you know that you can now find a report about the General Assembly and the course ‘European Ecovillage Network – Research and Training for Sustainability’ on the GEN-Europe homepage (http://www.gen-europe.org/archives/meetings/assemblies/index.html).
This year, you can exchange your photos via the website (http://photos.gen-europe.org), if anyone still has some they want to share, please upload them so we can all see them. You can also download other peoples photos, that saves us the trouble of sending them to each other via email.
There also is a video clip of an interview with Kosha that was recorded in Keuruu (http://www.gen-europe.org/announcements/interview_kosha.html).
Next year we will meet in Damanhur. There will be a two day General Assembly from July 4, starting in the afternoon to July 6 lunch time for the full members. This will give us some more time to meet in a smaller circle, and there will be council elections in 2010. The GA, like this year will be followed by a course starting in the afternoon of July 6 to July 11 lunch time. Again, there will be the possibility of applying for Grundtvig or Comenius In-Training grants.
