This training is for those in formal or informal education who want to expand their horizon to explore the possibilities of integrating regenerative principles and practices into their work with children and youth.
Over 10 sessions, we cover topics from each area of the Map of Regeneration (see curriculum below). Sessions are online, interactive, and include case studies and practical applications of the concepts. We do not propose one approach or methodology, but rather recognize and celebrate the diversity between cultures, bioregions, as well as teaching and learning styles.
Participants will be led by pioneering practitioners from ecovillage schools and ecovillage educational projects from all around the world. The perspectives, tools, and skillsets gained can be applied by formal educators in traditional classrooms, informal youth facilitators in diverse learning environments, as well as community-based initiatives. Together, with input from participants, based in their own unique contexts, we explore the conditions and approaches that can inform and lead to a culture of empowered regenerative education.
The course fee is £2000 for a group of up to 20 educators participating together. We can be flexible if you are only interested in certain modules. Due to our facilitators being active in their own communities, scheduling must be custom designed.
