At What If: Ecovillage Solutions for Extraordinary Times, GEN Europe brought together renowned experts, visionaries and on-the-ground practitioners to help us make sense of the complex times we live in. Together we explored how ecovillages and intentional communities are awakening to opportunities through the Covid crisis and how together we can transform this moment to create a culture of regeneration and resilience for all.
This package gathers talks and workshops from the event’s Low-Impact Technology strand. It explores tools and techniques including permaculture, water retention landscapes and community biogas, as well as introducing ecosystem restoration as the great work of our time.
This package is for you if you’re curious about how practical tools can be implemented in a community context – and what it takes to restore degraded land on a massive scale to meet the climate challenges of our era. If you are just getting to know GEN, we recommend you start with the GEN Intro course which will give you the frame of how the network and organisation flow.
A live course will be offered at set times and invites you to engage with a facilitator and other participants. A self-paced course means you can engage in the content as your schedule allows. We also offer courses where you engage in the content yourself and then join gently facilitated group discussions to connect with others.
