After having worked for 18 years in the corporate world, I started a journey of personal transformation that led me to the ecovillage world. I have lived in Findhorn and served GEN for 1,5 years and now I'm starting a new journey, going back to the urban scenario, carrying community and everything I've learned with me. Get in touch if you are interested in doing a project together or just to share experiences over a cup of tea (real or virtual).

Pinakari Deep Listening
Pinakarri is the Martu Mandjilidjara Aboriginal word for Deeper Listening. In our western culture we seem to have lost the skill of empathically listening to each other. We have developed a way of mainly listening to a little voice in the head which keeps making win-lose judgments and interprets everything we hear through itself. Sociocracy — which means “governance by peers or colleagues” (sometimes called “Dynamic Governance”) in the US — is an increasingly popular governance and decision-making method based on the principles of transparency, equivalency, and effectiveness. In Diana Leafe Christian´s experience, when an ecovillage or another kind of intentional community uses Sociocracy, their governance process tends to become far more effective and enjoyable than it was when they used consensus as their … Read more
