This video explains the preparation of a medicinal tincture for the stomach, featuring a recipe from Grandmother Joaquina from Oaxaca, Mexico.
The principal intention behind making this video is to show how simple the process of producing your own tinctures can be. The specific recipe we give is not a prescription, and we recommend doing serious research on specific plants before your first try, or else working with an elder or medicine person who can guide the process. The names of the plants in this video are translated to the best of our ability… every bioregion has its own medicinal plants which can be identified by someone in your local community.
