We live and work in beautiful Croatia, on Istrian peninsula. We are an association of creative individuals spanning of all age and vocation and we connect and organize dynamic community contribution centre. We are inspired by nature, history, archeology, tradition, permaculture, spirituality, music, education, old crafts, construction; and aspire to implement sustainable lifestyle into our urban and rural environments.
At the moment, we are starting up two projects, one located in Rovinj in which we are striving to make a permacultural garden, and with the other we aim to breathe life into Bale with old crafts. We make natural cosmetics, food, honey and all sorts of handmade shenanigans. We collaborate with other associations, schools, local communities, organize lectures, themed gatherings, volonteering activities etc.
First, in the near future (May/June), we’re starting a project of fencing, restoration and building of a ruinous drystone wall surrounding our permacultural garden in Rovinj. We will also be constructing some of the permacultural elements.
The project will be under the guidance of masterly istrian builders of “kažun” and drystone walls, willing to share their secrets to interested individuals and volonteers. If you are conscientious, responsible, willing to volonteer and contribute to fencing and building a drystone wall while mentored by experts, you can count on a meal and a place to stay in the our nearest camp. We are looking forward hearing from you! Reach out to us by email, but not later than mid-May for this activity. The number of volonteers is limited.

Hello,
I would like to visit your ecovillage because I am considering to move to an eco village next year.
How many people are living there? Is it easy to reach with the public transport? Can I stay in a single room from the second week of December to the second week of January? Is it a vegan friendly place or is more suitable for meat eaters?
Is it possible to move there next year buying or renting a small house?
Kind regards.
Maria
