Alaya Ecolodge is located in North-West Bali, Indonesia. Alaya means ‘Home of the Soul’ in Sanskrit. It is the perfect place to retreat, enjoy the silence, and to feel in touch with your soul again. It is about a 15min walk, or 5 min drive away from the closest beach. There are various restaurants, pharmacies and grocery shops nearby, as it is very centrally located in Pemuteran town.
Alaya campus is a lush green oasis, with wooden heritage cottages, tastefully furnished with antiques, and designed in a way to reduce negative ecological impacts. Alaya embrace’s GEN’s 4 Dimension design for sustainable living and whole systems design. Many people that visit this place have said that it has a very magical healing energy. It is situated at the foothills of the Bali National Park – known for its stunning pristine flora and fauna.
One part of Alaya is a venue for daily bookings and for wellness related workshops and retreats. It is also possible to engage longer term, as Alaya is now expanding to include accommodation agreements for more collective living – welcoming community members to join who feel called by “Ecovillage” values. It is developed over 5000m2 area, with an additional 5000m2 currently being designed for expansion.

Activities at the Ecolodge include: Wellness Practices eg: Yoga, AcuDetox, Ayurvedic Cooking, Massage Workshops, Watsu in Pool, Meditation, Art Therapy, Hikes, Bonfire & Music, Movie Nights etc.
What to do in the area: Temple Visits, Organic Farming, Bird Watching, Boating, Hot Springs, Snorkelling and Diving.
Alaya team is composed of members from the local Hindu & Muslim Balinese community – and various International members connected to the Global Ecovillage Network.
