Chisapani Ecovillage Tarebhir
Nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of Chisapani, Tarebhir, our ecovillage is a sanctuary for sustainable living, eco-tourism, and community empowerment. Inspired by the need to preserve nature while uplifting local communities, we have created a space where people can live in harmony with the environment, practice regenerative agriculture, and engage in meaningful cultural exchange.
Our guiding principles are:
- Sustainability & Regeneration: Implementing permaculture, organic farming, and responsible forestry to restore and maintain the ecological balance.
- Eco-Tourism & Cultural Immersion: Welcoming travelers, volunteers, and students to experience traditional Nepalese village life while participating in sustainable practices.
- Community Empowerment: Supporting local livelihoods through skill development, fair-trade markets, and sustainable business initiatives.
- Plastic Pollution Control & Waste Management: Organizing cleanup campaigns, promoting zero-waste solutions, and educating the community on responsible consumption.
- Health & Well-being: Facilitating wellness retreats, yoga, meditation, and holistic healing programs to promote overall well-being.
We envision Chisapani Ecovillage as a model for sustainable rural development, where local traditions and modern ecological solutions merge to create a thriving, resilient community.
