Faro del Mundo is a beautiful Ecovillage in the Sierras Grandes of Córdoba, Argentina.
In a very quiet place in the middle of the countryside but at the same time, close to towns where we find schools, health centers and other services.
We are now a group of 26 families and there are already inhabitants there and five finished houses.
A beautiful stream and a mighty river pass through the Ecovillage, giving us 800 meters of coast with deep pools for swimming.
We have many spaces and common areas and an incredible events room to generate work for our inhabitants.
Plazas, sports areas, bonfires and celebration areas, food forests, productive areas and community gardens are other areas that you can find in Faro del Mundo.
The most important thing for us is freedom and what keeps us united is caring for the land we inhabit.
We have sunlight, we are responsible for waste and we use bio digesters, among other care that is part of our agreements.
