The association GrafenAuenland is an intentional community that owns a spacious farm in beautiful nature directly at the Danube. The people who live here share responsibilities, fun and bills. We take care of 4,5 ha meadows, 6 ha forest and a big veggie garden, currently mainly for self-sufficiency.
In the main building we have a living space for about 6-8 adults plus children. There is plenty of building space around so we are open to expanding our project. We focus on living together on the farm with all that this entails: work and fun, building maintenance and eating directly from the garden, setting up bonfires and having swims in the river as well as pruning fruit trees and cutting the lawn, repairing the malfunctions as well as sipping coffee under the pergola.
We use sociocracy for decision making process. The associaction owns the property. Everyone who becomes a full member of the association has the same rights and obligations as everyone else. Contact us over the website or email. We will setup an online meeting to get to know each other. Then we meet each other for a few weekends to work and play together. Then there is 1 year trial period after which we decide if you can join and become the full member of GrafenAuenland.
