New Oasis for Life, originally established as the Second Home in Yunnan, China, in 2009, has braved 14 years of challenges and struggles to redefine human living. Throughout this period, we have courageously established 12 Second Homes across China, despite facing forced disbandments by the Chinese government over five times since 2013. Our unwavering journey has left a remarkable footprint across the nation.

Between 2021 and 2023, we initiated two new small Second Homes within China to evade government attention and interference by keeping the member count low. Additionally, we registered the Lifechanyuan International Family Society in Canada in 2017 and founded the Thailand branch in Chiangmai in 2019, which has successfully operated for over four years.

New Oasis for Life has introduced a revolutionary way of life that breaks free from the traditional norms of marriage and family. Our philosophy, called Chanyuan Values, constitutes a profound theoretical framework for our practices. We firmly believe that marriage and family, countries, religions, and political parties serve as major barriers to true human happiness and freedom.

Our vision is to establish 256 branches worldwide, transcending national, racial, religious, and cultural boundaries, to adopt the most ideal mode of living for human beings. Our ultimate goal is to bring happiness, joy, freedom, and blessings to every person on Earth. Through 14 years of dedicated practice, we have demonstrated that this vision is attainable and can manifest into reality.

At its peak, New Oasis for Life had 180 members across three branches. Currently, approximately 55 devoted members reside in our branches in China, Thailand, and Canada. Despite enduring disbandments by the government over the past decade, we remain resolute in our ideals and firmly believe that the world will eventually become a harmonious global happyland for all its citizens.
