We wish to live, learn together & evolve into better human beings. We will do this by building connections and a deep sense of belonging within the broadening heart of our community & Mother Nature.
From this dream, we gave birth to the project AWE that holds space to embrace and emerge more moments of awe in life – when we feel amazed and overwhelmed by either physical or psychological things that bring deep learning and transformation.
We are starting to manifest this in a space called Noong Awe Garden in the Northwest of Vietnam, which is also to honor its old name in local Thai language as Noong Ó (pond of elephant grass).
Mission & Practice
Our intention is to co-create a community space for deepening our personal connection with ourselves, other humans, nature & the great mystery of this life. Our intention is to cultivate a space where we can learn, experiment and sustain a simple, resilient, responsible and eco lifestyle which aims to be in harmony with local people and the environment.
To cultivate spaciousness for personal growth and collective evolution in order to learn, relax, and to connect physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually with ourselves and each other, we consciously design our lives and activities to serve the well-being of the community and the regeneration of the Earth.
- Mind-practices: learn and experiment simple, mindfulness living; learn from local knowledge and learn from nature.
- Body-practices: learn to grow, build, cook, and make craft in diversity with adaptation of local & traditional practices; share holistic practice of meditation, body work and arts.
- Soul-practices: space for self-improvement & connections with compassionate communication, fair decision making, transparency, as well as arts, rituals and celebrations.

I am interested in visiting you project. How can I contact you?

Hello, I’m a food sustainability consultant and climate resilience researcher currently travelling the world living with different communities across different cultures, practices and climate challenges, ultimately seeking to understand what resilience looks like at the community level for them (with a major interest in social-structures and food security!).
I will be in Vietnam through March and April and wondered whether it would be possible to have a chat about me visiting you?
I work nomadically running my consultancy whilst travelling but have plenty of time to contribute as an active community member, too!
Hopefully speak soon,
Stephanie
