Pyramid Village is a regenerative eco-village project located on Mt. Rtanj in Eastern Serbia, emerging from the values and practices developed through the Pyramid Festival. What began as a temporary festival village is growing into a year-round living laboratory for sustainable community life, ecological restoration, and cultural exchange.
The project brings together residents, artists, environmental activists, educators, and volunteers from Serbia and abroad. We are united by a shared commitment to living in harmony with nature, reducing our ecological footprint, and experimenting with regenerative practices that can evolve and be adapted elsewhere.
Pyramid Village focuses on ecological building, renewable energy use, composting and circular waste systems, water stewardship, and regenerative food production inspired by permaculture principles. Education is central to the project, as we share knowledge about sustainability, climate responsibility, and community resilience through workshops, hands-on learning, and public programs with festival participants, volunteers, and the local community.
Art, music, movement, and collective practices are integrated as essential elements of community-building and well-being. The project aspires to grow into a resilient eco-village rooted in its local context, strong human relationships, and regenerative values.
