*Sanctuary* at Fet is to be an intentional ecovillage. It is located in the beautiful nature reserve Muralla de Finestres
We will build and reestablish fields and rebuild ruins together as a community. It will be done with respect to nature and inspired by permaculture and biodynamic farming.
We will have 50 hectares of land 38 ruins and 2 tiny houses
The Heart of *Sanctuary* is practicing, living and building together, therefore one of the first building we will make is the community kitchen and meeting hall for gathering for meditation, meetings, body and mind practices, singing, dancing and performing.
In the first stage of the rebuilding project, we will live in tiny houses.
The key values are Harmony, Transformation and Nature.

We are interested in exchanging information, experiences and visits between Ecovillages. We are a Voices of the Ecovillage group from the Jatobás Sanctuary Ecovillage. We are building the audiovisual memory of the development of the ecovillage and collaborating with the local school of the quilombola community, studying how the participants think about “Building and Living” and implementing the project Autoethnographies of Reexistence: Experiences and Narratives in Contemporary Ecovillages. We are located in Serra do Boeiro, Municipality of Pombos, Pernambuco, Brazil.
What an aspiring vision! I would love to learn more. I have been involved in a number of small communities, gathering experience and knowledge, yet not quite finding what i’m looking for. I aspire to continue this learning with my 9 year old daughter by my side. She has been in the Waldorf program at Whatcom Hills Waldorf School in Bellingham, Wa. We are taking next school year off to homeschool abroad, mostly in Spain, and would love to visit your project. I have worked in landscape design, permaculture designer for over 15 years, body worker, dancer, performer, herbalist, alchemist, and general “figure out how to do things” type of person. I love being a part of projects and offering my hands and muscle power toward a greater good. Let me know how I can learn more about this project, to see if it could be a good fit for my daughter and I. Thanks!
