The Santa Barbara Eco-Village vision is to create a place to gather and care for the Earth, ourselves and each other. A place to pull our resources and talents to live a healthier and more fulfilling life that can be sustained for generation as we help people of all ages and backgrounds.
The Santa Barbara Eco-Village mission is to support and promote sustainable lifestyles. The project focuses on community living, land restauration, health and education. Resources will be directed towards implementing sustainability models that will allow people to live healthier and more fulfilling lives. We plan to create a blue print model that can be replicated throughout the world and adapted by diverse communities according to their geographical, cultural and economic conditions.
Our Vision Combines:
A permaculture farm and forest and an eco-village that will include alternative energy generation and off-grid living, an artisan craft center, a retirement community, and a safe refuge for children and adolescents.
A multidimensional healing and retreat center offering transformational retreats and festivals year-round for personal growth and individual healing intensives.
A community outreach center dedicate to supporting ongoing community projects and local causes linking eco-friendly organizations and non-profit organizations with the city of Santa Barbara. This program will include a food-bank for the production and delivery of food and resources for homeless people and unemployed families.
A program designed to educate and enrich the community of Santa Barbara and nearby cities with emphasis on childhood education.
A visionary artist colony that encourages inspirational art, film, theater, dance, music, poetry, literature, culinary arts, and develops new approaches to sublime and transformative creative expression.
An esoteric wisdom school with university-level courses in such fields as consciousness studies; meditation practice; quantum physics and its practical implications; transformative dream work; comparative metaphysics; shamanic and energetic healing; yogic sciences; exopolitical studies; next-generation therapies that go beyond transpersonal psychology, psychoanalysis, systems theories, and other current approaches. Other core subjects include nonviolent communication, leadership training, and community building.
An ashram for the modern western world that provides the space for a contemplative and simple lifestyle and the achievement of our highest potential. A place to visit or to permanently live a life of simplicity, inner peace, and joy with like-minded beings, in harmonious union with our Self and the Earth.
Other initiatives include a research center, an open source programs for project development and dissemination of valuable information, an Eco-Village development and integration program.
