Sitio Alternativa Raiz is a permaculture project that will turn into an ecovillage as soon as we can finish setting up our first house. We are in an 6 hectare property on Quintinos, and we are building our house with bamboo, clay and straw (bambu a pique). Plans of having 2 hectares of agroforestry, 1 hectare of pasture for our 2 horses and 2 cows, 1 hectare for buildings, houses, trails and gardens and 1 hectare of pure forest.

Please contact us if you are interested in joining our ecovillage. New joiners are expected to be volunteers for at least 3 months before moving in.
