We are searching for people who want to create and build intentional community through food growing, animal/land/water/fire management, experiential learning, natural building methods with recycled/reclaimed/reused materials, dam building for water security, and to create the future we want to live.
Speargrass has been in operation for 15 years with only one family living permanently and many many visitors, families, and helpers contributing over the years. The property is a small acreage situated within and with access to thousands of acres of open bushland.
There are two houses, two sleeping shacks (3m x 3m) and another elevated shack (6m x 6m). Only one house and one sleeping shack are occupied. We have established food gardens that feed 1-2 families (up to 90% – goat dairy, farmed and wild meat, fruits, vegetables, eggs).

I would like more information. How much is the rent and how much for the membership a year later? Can volunteering be in exchanged for the rent and food?
Althea says

Thanks
