The volunteer project / village development project Volunt2Thai in Thailand cooperates with about ten villages, focus is to provide disadvantaged children with a better education and thus better opportunities. We teach free of charge foreign languages and general education as well as practical life skills in the schools and on the campus. Volunteers or interns/project participants regardless of age, with diverse experience from all over the world and from all walks of life are welcome.
There is no age limit and people with different talents come to us. Whether it is physiotherapy to support the elderly in the village, sports, yoga, Thai boxing, languages, music or computer courses for children, there are no limitations. But we also learn and practice organic farming.
In our own “Food Forest” we grow vegetables and fruits and also produce food with our harvest. Oh, and we bake our own bread in our bakery. If you are skilled in making films and reports, you are also welcome. In the past we have been able to support several photographers and film teams. Depending on the season, there are also cultural activities in which you can actively participate. In addition, depending on the date, volunteers can receive free teacher training.

Volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life are welcome! A campus and cultural center has been built as a living space. Volunteers are integrated into the daily life of the six villages in our area and have the unique opportunity to get to know village life first hand and experience a culture that has hardly changed over time. In return, you can give back to the community in a meaningful way by teaching children and adults. The activity of the association is not for profit!

Hey,
I’m a Brazilian photographer living in Australia for 4 years. Since when I moved here my plan was to go to Thailand. After four years I feel like I am ready to do something more meaningful.
Working with children always brings up my inner child. I’d love to help collecting all the skills I got with kids, communities, language etc. I am open to share and learn new skills in a healthy environment.

Where can I find out more about volunteering? What accommodation is available? Cost? Length of stay? Special visa?
