We are a group of permaculture minded people looking to create an eco village in northland.
This summit hub will create a space for us to learn more and chat about it over the next 10 days 🙂
It sounds like there will be some wonderful resources and speakers involved!

Hi,
A grass roots movement is required to adapt to a new economy and way of life that is sustainable.
Govt and business world are powerless to change if we keep using non sustainable products. The change is in everyone’s hands .

I heartily concur, I am the one responsible for the change I want to see. It would be nice to connect with others having the same values. I have also seen the examples of “Many hands make light work” and wondering how I can become part of a group that puts care of people, invironment and sustainability as a priority.
Let’s find real peace in this life time.

Am wanting to do this, has something been started yet? I’ve got a concept for a circular shaped community almost entirely self-sufficient and able to support over 100 people. Based on similar principals as the zeitgeist movement and the venus project

My house is up for sale but it would be great to pool money to get an ideal piece of land

Hi there, I am interested to learn more on your progress to attaining an ideal piece of land! My wife and I were involved in a creating an eco village north of Wellington over 20 years ago with no success. We are both looking at re – locating north and may be interested in this project. I am a qualified builder with 30 + years in construction. My wife Susan and I are both into organics and permaculture principals. Very interested to learn more.
Thanks
Simon

Hi! Has this project taken off by chance? My partner and I are also interested in joining or starting a collaborative eco community. We currently live in Wellington, but are wanting to visit existing eco villages around NZ over Dec-Jan this summer to connect more with folks who are starting off or practicing. We would love to connect with your community or others if folks are keen!
