What does the PDC cover?
An introduction to permaculture, permaculture ethics and principles An ecology primer, including observation skills, ecological principles, trees, soil, water A wide range of applications of permaculture, including agroforestry, forest gardening, wild food, fungi in permaculture, composting toilets, urban permaculture, people care, and legal structures Practical experience through walks of the neighbouring woodland, meadows, village, and hands-on activities in the local garden A deep look and experience of the permaculture design process, culminating in a group design exercise and presentation, looking at a specific area or aspect of Slunakov ecocentre. During the course, you will have many opportunities to apply your learning to your own situation and the projects you are involved in.
As this is international PDC, you will meet people from across Europe Breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared fresh from local resources – vegetarian and vegan Accomodation in 2 bed or 6 bed rooms in a light and comfortable newly built low-energy building.
Course cost: 610 Euro including accommodation and full board – if you send a deposit of 360 Euro before 1. 5. 2015
