      • Facing the Dark Night

In order to care for the world, yourself and others we need time to reconnect to the natural world around us. Time with the seasons, the changes, trees, beauty and also the hardness of the world that has been our natural surrounding for thousand of years. At the same time, this solitude and connection to the outer nature is also a reconnection to our inner nature (and our inner changes of seasons) it helps us to regain strength and clarity again. • Stage:
        • Facing the Dark Night

Threshold walks are simple, powerful and transformative experiences in nature. They are often best done in places where nature is abundant and strong, although that is not required. Even city scapes are full of nature if we look and listen carefully. What is required is to create a line or threshold in which to cross and then step across it holding an intention and expecting to get the answers you are looking for on the other side. When we step across a threshold in nature looking for … Read more

Take time to reflect on past failures. Feel the emotions that accompany these experiences. Make space for these. This might lead to a deeper integration. With support, create a space from which we can look back at these experiences and place them in a bigger context. Notice insights and learnings. Connect to the original intention and see if we feel drawn to revisit the scenario, in the light of this newfound wisdom. Understanding what stress is and having a daily practice that balances your mind and body system. Stress is a response of our fight or flight system. This mechanism is very efficient when we face an emergency such as a dangerous predator; our sympathetic nervous system is activated, making all of our body alert by releasing adrenaline into our blood. However, if we go through a prolonged period of stress, the hormone released is cortisol, which in the long run becomes a poisonous to our … Read more
