STORY OF HARMONIA: HARMONIA is a multidisciplinary and nature-loving design studio established by two in love designers in 2012. It is located in a forest on mythological Mount Ida/Kazdağları. Harmonia is a regenerative practices space for mutual learning and ecological design lab in nature. Harmonia uses the land for experimenting and practicing skills towards regeneration and offers design solutions to its customers and students. Being in the ecological design field, the design studio is founded as a sustainable place with an off-grid system and the goal of Harmonia is to become more regenerative and self-sufficient in the future to become a model to be replicated as a systems design. Since Harmonia is a design studio as well as an educational institution; It has a diverse community in terms of age, education, and cultural identity.
Harmonia carries diverse ancient cultural knowledge into the future by reinterpreting them through art, craft and design for offering regenerative design solutions.

Harmonia has on-going research in community building among its clients and students as well. Harmonia creates books in ecological design and living to empower ecological literacy in Turkey. The first book about ecological architecture in Turkey “Traditional Architecture Techniques” was written by Melih Aşanlı the co-founder of Harmonia. After this book 2 books were written and published two, one is about workshops and the other is a work of bioregionalism “Stories of Kazdağları”.
