We are a demonstration of the processes for creating a
healthy intensely urban neighborhood. We seek to integrate the social,
economic and ecological systems of the neighborhood. An intentional community of approximately 35 persons in a two block neighborhood engages in a variety of activities with one another, other neighbors and the city at large to create lower impact higher quality living patterns.
We provide scheduled public tours (please call for reservations 213/738-1254), workshops, and public presentations on various aspects of sustainable urban living. Short stays, individual and/or small group internships and apprenticeships may be arranged for fees.
