Description of Challenge
When we try to work at home it is easy to get distracted: The windows need to
be cleaned, the food cooked or eaten there is always something else to do. Or
you tend to sit in front of your laptop from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. without any break,
forgetting about food, movement, rest, joy, jokes, pleasure. Working alone can
be really hard. Likewise you sometimes need some advice from a person with
other expertise and you end up getting stuck because you can't reach the right person.
“Work on your own, NOT alone”
Solution
To “start doing” what you want it is much easier when it is done together. Get a
room, some chairs and a diverse group of people and you can create a
coworking space. This means creating settings where there is no “new input” or
“stuff to be done”, but a creative space where people can do what they need or
want to do for their own project. This is what we call “Coworking Space. It can
be a fixed space with table, chairs, meeting rooms and all that is required in an
office structure. You can also create a temporary , or “popup coworking space.
In these ways you can create coworking atmospheres easily just by giving
space for the work to be done. It is similar to a permanent Open Space where
everybody can do what they want.
