Description of Challenge
Maidat Ramdan is to help feed poor people during a whole month.Also, people will be closer from each other, trust will be built and community will be linked together.People can't afford their meals during Ramdan, so people who can afford offer others meals during the whole month of Ramdan.
Solution
Ramdhan is the nineth month of the Muslim Calendar. In this month muslims fast from dawn until sunset Muslims refrain from consuming food, drinking liquids, smoking and sexual relations; and in some interpretations from swearing.According to Islam, the thawab (rewards) of fasting are many, but in this month they are believed to be multiplied. Fasting for Muslims during Ramadan typically includes the increased offering of salat (prayers) and recitation of the Quran.In this holly month, muslims multiple their sharity doings like giving money to poor people, helping them…etc. One of the things that happens in Algeria during Ramdhan is Maidat Ramdhan, it means Ramdhan round table, people before Iftar (which is stopping the fast at the time of sunset) prepare a table where they put food and every person is welcome to come and eat whoever he is, wherever he is coming from..this happens in restaurants, shops, malls, schools, universities, every building or public space offers a full meal without paying any peny.
