Description of Challenge
Women in the rural areas of Southern Morocco are generally financially dependent on their husbands and have no way to generate financial independence. Also, the Argan products and handicrafts are commercialized locally and therefore are not sold at real value.Commercializing Argan products and carpets online. This allows the eco-friendly products to be known at national and international levels and therefore to be sold at their true commercial value.
Solution
For women who produce Argan oil or make carpets, co-operatives can have an online website for them where they can sell their product nationally and internationally, enabling them to become more financially independent, as well as receiving the true commercial value of their products.
