Description of Challenge
We live in a time and place where it's easy to lose hope and trust. We experience stress and trauma daily, leading to emotional, physical and mental suffering due to the harsh situation we live, which takes us away from being present and centered in our body, mind, thoughts and emotions.
Losing hope in the situation, means losing hope in oneself, inability to share the gifts we have, and disconnecting from our inner strength and core values of our beings that are of love, bliss and freedom
"Take care of yourself, so you can take care of others"
Solution
Connecting to our own beings, seeing our inner light, keeping the hope for a better future, realizing and seeing every day as a new beginning and a new hope is the aspiration.
Creating a healthy, safe and hopeful community that believes in peace, justice and equality is how we envision the solution to this challenge through taking people in a journey of self discovery to see their new way of being in creating a new future, based on values of inner freedom, love, and bliss, because that’s who we are as humans through the use of unique and innovative tools like Yoga and Therapeutic use of Pranayama “Breathing Exercises”, Mindfulness Meditation, Women Circles, Deep Relaxation Sessions “Yoga Nidra”, Trauma/ Tension Release Exercises, Healing through Music, Arts, Movements, Dancing and Sharing.
Connecting to all these core values whether we are activists, victims of a conflict with PTSD, human rights advocates or even pregnant women, kids and elder people; we all need to create a sense of self care and well-being, especially when all our human core values are becoming conditional. These tools contribute directly to the transformation of the individual’s life and the perspective about life as it digs deeper into our core, by looking inwards and not outwards to find peace, love and bliss from within and then transfer all these values outwards, and realizing that we need to take care of ourselves in order to take care of others.
