The main challenge the restaurant seek to address is unemployment
Solution
Through cooking and catering services with young girls , through the provision of long and Short team catering services to Non Governmental Organization and to individuals while also selling in the restaurant, temporal and permanent jobs are created for young girls.
“We deliver healthy and delicious African meals to NGOs, public health workers and indiduals for catering services during training workshops and occasions.
We also deliver good customer care to our daily customers who are both national and internstipnal ( International volunteers and workers).
We create a ready market to our supplies of table birds maintaining a solid value chain production.”
The social impact this business aims to have is create many social businesses in the Bamenda community to employ many other young girls from the profits and savings of this business.
Also we aimed to inspire many other young persons towards venturing in to entrepreneurship for self employment.
This will be measured by the number of social business created in the next 3years and the number of young persons/ employees that will take up the challenge in starting and running their own dream businesses through the inspiration gotten from TeHA African Kitchen Restaurant.”
The restaurant project is aimed at creating employment to young girls in cooking, catering and good customers care. Also we aimed at providing healthy African meals at affordable prices to both national and international customers thereby promoting the African Culture through its delicious meals and fabrics
The Result:
TeHA African Kitchen Restaurant had been existing for six months now and had recorded several achievement. Through its long team cateting service, we have served the Better World Ecovillage Design Education (EDE) from August 3rd to 31st 2017 making maximum earnings for the business. The business has provided its catering services to SHUMAS Cameroon, offering delicious African meals to 217 participants within four days in the community of Bafut, Bali and Batibo at the cost of 1500frs a plate per person. This added to the monthly profit of the business. Also. The business has created employment to two young girls as cook and sales person. We have been able to create a solid customers relationship through our services.” NGOs, university institutions, other private institutions, individuals and ministries.
