Member of the Village Collective at the Bezaleel Israel Eco-Village
I'm at the Bezaleel Israel Eco-Village in far northeast Washington. It's named after the landowner, affectionately known as "BZ," who has put more than 30 years of effort into developing his 20 acres to support a self-sufficient permaculture community. BZ is retiring from farming and the construction jobs that provided his income for many years. With great generosity, he wants to donate his land to current and future generations as a permaculture community land trust. BZ has many skills from metal fabrication and machinery maintenance to producing vegetable seeds and installing solar power systems. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with those curious to learn.
Contact us if you want to get involved. We are now inviting interested people to participate. Help build the Eco-village that will be a model for living well with a small footprint.

There is potential for a small number of people to move into permanent residency here. There is a suggested structure for joining as a permanent resident which is like an apprenticeship program. The permanent residents make up the Village Collective. There is also a farming collective.

After a successful 60-day trial period you would become an apprentice Village member until the end of the year, renewable, with permanent residency potential.
