GEN Ambassador

A PostDoc Researcher in political Science, an Associate in the Queen Elizabeth II Academy, and activist who is offering research- based consultancy. she is into producing and displaying works of art in public. She does not directly position herself as an artist but she is seeking ways to work with others and reinvent in the beauty of culture and heritage, investing in hand- made products, taking part in recycling efforts, and minimizing waste of natural resources locally and across the region.

Born into a Palestinian family in a refugee camp nearby Nablus in Palestine, inherited a sense of beauty from her father- an UNRWA school teacher of Art and Handcraft, and genuinely interested in gender. From high school on wards, she studied in East Jerusalem, Los Angeles, Budapest, and Vienna where in addition to pursuing her post studies in political Science. She has built my career in a variety of roles in some of the world’s top nonprofit organizations, including but not limited to CARE Int., AFSC- Quakers Youth Prog., Bir Zeit Uni., UNDP/LRDP, and served in a consultancy/Advisory role.

Primary interests: Social (Diversity & Cohesion, Leadership & Governance); Culture (Art & Celebration); Ecology (Green Building); Economy (Sharing & Collaboration)
