Born into a Palestinian family in a refugee camp nearby Nablus in Palestine, inherited a sense of beauty from her father- an UNRWA school teacher of Art and Handcraft, and genuinely interested in gender. From high school on wards, she studied in East Jerusalem, Los Angeles, Budapest, and Vienna where in addition to pursuing her post studies in political Science. She has built my career in a variety of roles in some of the world’s top nonprofit organizations, including but not limited to CARE Int., AFSC- Quakers Youth Prog., Bir Zeit Uni., UNDP/LRDP, and served in a consultancy/Advisory role.
