Gregory Pettys

Pun Pun Farm/Panya Forest

Gregory Pettys is a father and husband, a seed saver, a storyteller, a regenerative farmer, community builder, earthen builder, musician and designer/facilitator of dynamic cross-cultural exchanges that explore challenging topics such as grief, loss and how people from the "modern" world might learn how to become ancestors worthy of descending from. He currently lives at Pun Pun Farm, a 22 year old ecovillage in Northern Thailand that focuses on self-sufficiency.

Gregory Pettys is first and foremost a father and a husband. He is a seed saver, a storyteller, a regenerative farmer, community builder, earthen builder, musician and designer/facilitator of dynamic cross-cultural exchanges that bring friends from the so-called "developed" world into dialogue with friends from more culturally in-tact communities to explore challenging topics such as greif, loss and how to become an ancestor worthy of descending from . He has worked as an international experiential educator for over 15 years and lived in over ten countries. He currently lives at Pun Pun Farm, a 22 year old ecovillage in Northern Thailand that focuses on self-sufficiency. Together with is wife, they are currently working to revive the beloved Panya Project as well, renamed as Panya Forest: A Place for Re-Membering.

Primary interests: Ecovillage design. Conflict resolution. Storytelling. Education. Seeds. Natural Building. Cultural renewal.
