Sarah is always curious about the cultural dynamics and social potentials of the built environment. Born in California, educated in New Haven and London, and currently living in Singapore, Sarah’s career path so far has wound its way between public policy, architecture, research, curation, editorial and non-profit leadership. In the course of this journey she’s been honoured as of one of the Global Public Interest Design 100, visited American urban eco-villages with a grant from the Graham Foundation, researched civic agriculture for the National Parks Board, proposed a new eco-village for the Seoul Biennale of Architecture & Urbanism, and served on the jury for the Resilient By Design Bay Area Challenge.

Primary interests: Social (Diversity & Cohesion); Culture (Nature Connection); Ecology; Economy (Sharing & Collaboration, Planetary Boundaries)
