Kavitha Urvasie Selvaraj

Kavitha Urvasie Selvaraj is a third generation Aurovilian, Indian and Dutch by nationality. She studied Sustainable Development in the Netherlands and then settled in Auroville where she worked in alternative Education, Communications, Networking and Sustainable Development. She founded the YouthLink Service and the GEN-Auroville desk with the support from Joss Brooks (GEN Elder). Kavitha has worked for GEN International as Trustee, and as Educational Director for the GEN Asian Network. Kavitha cordinates a EDE program annually in Auroville and/or Bali. She now lives in Bali where she manages an Ecolodge, and plans to start a Grocery Co-op and Ecovillage land based project together with her husband Michael and daughter Aliya.
