La Ladera, terreno cultural

La Ladera, Terreno Cultural, is a community space dedicated to the children of the municipality of Huitzilac. In Mexico and the rest of the world, children are the most vulnerable part of society. They are the focus, basis and reason that La Ladera exists. For the last six years and despite its limitations, La Ladera has been working with children to offer a space for scientific and artistic expression in the hopes that this will provide an alternative livelihood to violence. The community does not have sufficient resources to provide their children with these types of activities, since they, like their parents, did not enjoy this privilege either. Through volunteer work, La Ladera seeks to provide these essential components to its community and counteract violence through culture.

Primary interests: culture, childhood, science, theater
