Como todos los años, unas 400 personas llegadas de todas las ecoaldeas de Europa se reunirán para intercambiar experiencias, talleres, charlas y trabajos prácticos sobre los diferentes aspectos de la vida en comunidad. Temas como son las economías alternativas, la soberanía alimentaria, las energías renovables, gestión de relaciones humanas, facilitación de grupos, modelos de gobernanza, procesos de toma de decisiones colectivas, bioarquitectura y activismo político: una agenda inspiradora y diversa. Los participantes podrán elegir entre asistir a las talleres monotemáticos, talleres prácticos o profundizar más en algún tema a través de talleres que contarán con varias sesiones. Agua es vida, el recurso más importante de todos. Desde la perspectiva de Sunseed como un centro educativo sobre la vida de bajo impacto nos gustaría ofrecerles un taller para aprender, profundizar e intercambiar los conocimientos teóricos y prácticos sobre el cuidado de agua. ¿Cuál es el objetivo del taller? En general la idea de los talleres de Sunseed y Paissano es que cualquiera tenga la capacidad de evaluar los costos y beneficios que implicaría usar el agua de una manera más sostenible. En este caso específico la idea es que al final del taller tengamos la capacidad de hacer un dimensionamiento rápido de un sistema de fitodepuración para nuestros hogares y calcular rápidamente cuánto nos costaría construirlo, qué materiales necesitaríamos, dónde conseguirlos y estimar qué beneficios nos traería construirlo. Vamos a intentar a responder la pregunta: ¿cómo dejar de pensar sobre el agua servida como un desecho, sino un recurso valorado? Para aprender cómo hacerlo vamos a trabajar con el sistema de tratamiento de aguas existente en Sunseed, pasar por los componentes y ensuciarnos las manos (un poco…) con la reconstrucción de un humedal artificial. Al terminar nos sentaremos por grupos a diseñar un sistema similar para nuestros hogares. En la noche vamos a proyectar un video sobre el tema y divertirnos con charlas y/o música. ¿Para quién? En general el taller está dirigido a estudiantes de arquitectura o ingenierías, albañiles, constructores, propietarios de cortijos, familias que autoconstruyan sus viviendas, colectivos rurales, etc. ¡Pero cualquier persona puede participar! Conflicts/disagreements exist because of our differences – the differences in our needs, moral values and motivations… Sometimes we connect with each other through these differences, sometimes we come across to each other. There is no problem with the disagreements, in other words “coming across,” the question is what we do with this disagreement. It is important to lead our conflicts, because either we love them or not they require our energy. In fact we spend most of our energy and attention on unsolved conflicts. Probably all of us have experienced how tiring an unsolved conflict is. It is not always easy to solve the problem, but when we do it gives us big energy. It requires an ability to solve conflicts. In this practice we will start on the definition and dynamics of conflicts/disagreements, and helpful attitudes to solve them. The ReGEN-Nations program is a 6-month online learning journey and prototyping lab using whole systems thinking to design solutions for social, cultural, economic, and ecological resilience and regeneration, designed by the GENOA Projects team. The program is based on the Ecovillage Design Education (EDE) curriculum and certified by Gaia Education and UNESCO. The prototype began in September 2020 and welcomed 16 teams from around Asia and the Pacific, with 11 countries represented, Australia, Japan, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Each team joined with two lead members and several supporting members. They started with a project in either ideation or scaling stage and applied the learning from this program to develop and deepen their project design. The program offered a wide range of online sessions from check-in calls, to leadership, mentorship, and coaching sessions, to workshops and webinars on the areas of regeneration of ecovillage design. In addition to the cohort of 16 teams, the program ReGEN Nations reached over 120 participants through its open webinars and workshops in each dimension. Through the ReGEN Nations program, GENOA was able to also engage a network of thought leaders, trainers, activists, ecovillages and kindred spirit organisations from the region.

During our action week from 03.-09. February 2020 in Arensnest we free our old farm from a legacy of waste to make space for new ideas and projects around communal life in the countryside.
