Hello my eco-friendly guys and gals!
My name is Ivy Beck, and I have been interested in building my own eco-village/intentional community for a long time, and now I am finally ready to do it! Recently I moved to Arizona, and it hasn’t been the best for me. I have experienced many hardships while living here, and it is time for me to move on. Whilst living here I met many new friends, but unfortunately not many with the same mindset as me when it comes to sustainability.
Eventually, I met my best friend Tako. We came up with this grand idea of moving to Montana, buying a large pice of land, and creating our very own homestead. Then I thought “Why not build a whole community?”. I know how hard it can be to find communities that share the same values as you, or even finding one near you, or the area you want to be in.
Now, we are building this community and we need your help! I have many skills when it comes to homesteading, cooking, building, woodworking, first aid, CPR, gardening, etc. We need your skills too! Being part of our community, everyone needs to contribute, it doesn’t have to be in a monetary way, you can contribute your skills. We will be starting from scratch, so if you want to be part of our amazing adventure, let us know!

We are starting our community from square one. If you would like to join our community, you will have to build your own residence. We will also be building our own from scratch. We have many skills on our own, but we do not know everything unfortunately, so we will be needing your skills as well! No money is needed to join, but you hands, and your skills are. We will be growing our own food and medicine, but it is going to take a while to get to that point, because as I said before, we are starting from nothing. We have a simple set of rules: Be kind, and be respectful to everyone, and their property, and contribute. Friendly animals are allowed, as long as they do not destroy crops, or kill any farm animals. Hard drugs are also not allowed in our community, but alcohol is welcome. My preferred names are Ashe, Aurora, or Ari. I have nothing in the ways of money to offer you, but I too am earth minded and passionate, looking for a safe place to call home. I’m not sure what stage you are at in your development. My background is in ceramics (pottery), floral design and plant maintenance, art, mold making, music, and I am comfortable helping where I can as an assistant in any construction or less intense tasks. I cook (primarilly pescetarian or vegetarian, know my way around vegan recipes, too). Would love to cultivate a garden or be a cook or bardic inspiration facilitator. I love playing games and making acoustic music, especially in group settings. I have some experience in commune style living, but not a ton. I do have conditions that require medicine, but nothing too life threatening or anything like that. I have some healing to do this month and a few things to wrap up business wise, but once that is all concluded I would love to schedule a call or video call to see where you are at in terms of the process and to see if we could work well as a team. Hello, my Name is William and I’m very interested in being part of your community as well as a few good friends of mine. I do have 2 pets and a lot of great skills to offer such as, carpentry, bushcraft, hunting gathering, survival teachings and of course I’m a musician. I currently live in Missouri but would like to head north. Hopefully I may have an opportunity to help create a beautiful new place to call home.
