Kaisdhar is an immensely beautiful place, with grassy meadows and densely forested mountains. The lush green trail and biodiversity rich environment makes it an excellent site to pause, introspect and reflect our interconnectedness with nature.
Our Purpose : The Kaisdhar Community is curating an unique experience to encourage responsible tourism and facilitate deep-rooted cultural exchange. Through ecotourism and environmental conservation initiatives the community is showing pathways how we can foster resilience in mountain communities alongwith generating a sustainable livelihood options. The community is adopting widescale promotion of Agroecology, community based social enterprise model, vibrant cultural performance and preservation of traditional crops/ cuisines as tools to attract urban communities.
Krishi Updates Digital Agriculture Model is as open access ICT platform for Co-creation and sharing of knowledge that fosters Mindfulness based sustainable transformation and resilience in communities. The digital platform also provides capacity building programs through blended learning for upskilling communities.
The Kaisdhar – KU Learning Center aims to –
1- Organise various workshops and write shop for documenting attributes for building resilience of mountain communities
2- Facilitate in marketing and outreach of Kaisdhar Ecovillage Social Enterprise Model
3- Promote peer to peer learning for co creating solutions and knowledge sharing
4- Building capacities of mountain communities for Sustainability
5- Mindfulness based system Transformation through Consciousness approaches and creating safe spaces for collective wisdom
6- Incubating rural enterprises and building consciousness based leaders for sustainability of initiatives
