Pacific Gardens Cohousing is a 25 unit apartment-style condo project in Nanaimo on a 4.37 acre property bordering the Chase River, close to downtown Nanaimo and Malaspina College. In addition to a large common kitchen, our facility also boasts a children’s room, craft room, music/meditation space, gym, office, woodworking shop, two guest suites and more.
The sense of community will be further facilitated by a covered pedestrian street that will connect all the units to the Common House.
Our extensive greens space includes natural flora and fauna, a seasonal pond, heritage apple trees, and organic gardens. Founding members of the community have agreed to make this a ‘green’ project by adhering closely to LEED Guidelines for construction.
