Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya is a thriving international community in Poland. At present, 14 adults and 4 children reside here. Residents range in age from 4 to 70, and we are an eclectic group of artists, healers, writers, musicians, therapists, gardeners, teachers and herbalists. We are a collection of international pioneers who want to heal the planet from the grassroots up!
Bhrugu Aranya is an ancient sacred site in the Tatra Mountain region of southern Poland. The atmosphere at Bhrugu Aranya is infused with high vibrations from Ayurvedic Healing fires that are maintained daily. It is this energy that radiates to heal the Earth.
It is situated between the historic city of Krakow and the picturesque ski resort Zakopane.
Our 4 hectare farm is high in the hills surrounded by forest and has a spectacular view of the Tatra mountains.
We have an ecological non-profit Foundation, an organic farm certification and have a Mandala concentric circle vegetable garden, greenhouses, geodesic dome for children’s garden, a medicinal/culinary herb garden, bee hives, an apple-plum orchard, 4 cows, 4 dogs, many cats, goats, and a duck family.
We speak English, Polish, Spanish. Some speak French and German.
We use an ancient Vedic farming and alternative healing method known as Homa Therapy, which involves the use of Agnihotra and other Homa fires to purify the atmosphere, soil and water of pollution. Agnihotra is performed at sunrise and sunset daily.
We are a spiritually focused community that welcomes anyone from any faith, as Homa Therapy is a science, not a religion.
It truly is a place where spirituality meets ecology!
