E Ola ka Pu`uwai Aloha (The Healing Heart) of Wailea is a multiphase initiative envisioning a space of recovery, healing, reharmonization and wellbeing for all beings, through ritual, wisdom and practices of our Indigenous Hawaiian ancestors. This space is found in 114 acres of ancestral land, repatriated after 150 years of extractive corporate sugar cane plantations. A pervasive woundedness exists in our communities, in our social-ecologies, in the lands and waters and Peoples of these islands. The pathway to healing is one of recalling and revitalizing our roots through reconnecting with ancestral ways, while evolving and adapting to ever-shifting circumstances of a planet navigating crisis and change.
Living Life Source Foundation offers a pu`uhonua (safe place) where Native Hawaiian education, healing, sustainable lifestyle, and traditional farming intersect. We aim to restore a system of living, integrating rigorous Native Hawaiian cultural practice with contemporary science and all beliefs. Through teaching concepts vital to creating a life of greater meaning and purpose, with reverence for our ‘Āina (land), LLSF educates people of Hawaii to become self-sustainable, and to perpetuate the value of aloha. Reindigenizing regeneration of forest, coastal and watershed ecosystems, traditional fish ponds have offered learning, healing with our communities’ most vulnerable. We have been registered since 2011; established as 501 c3 non-profit in the state of Hawai’i since 2012. We work with schools, youth and families and Kapuna who’ve experienced trauma, institutionalization, and high vulnerability (including homelessness, fiscal poverty, the working poor, those with emotional spiritual psychological or mental health challenges).
We work in and rural, urban and peri-urban spaces and communities.

Since 2011, the LIVING LIFE SOURCE FOUNDATION (LLSF) was inspired and conceived by
Professor Bruce Keaulani, the spiritual and knowledge descendant of Kaito Gakko, Professor David K. Nuuhiwa, Sr. Uncle David achieved world hero recognition throughout the martial arts community, legendary status in surfing, and mentoring youth in Native Hawaiian martial arts.
Through the Nuuhiwa legacy, his lineage and sacredi places continues to honor his ancestors from Nuku Hiwa, Marquesas, French Polynesia and Wainiha, Kauai. Kahuna David Nuuhiwa and Kahuna Bruce Keaulani established their practices and legacies as Native Hawaiian Healers and Native Hawaiian Cultural Practitioners. Kahuna Bruce Keaulani also is developing his ministry through LLSF.
Uncle David Nuuhiwa continues to guide all of our LLSF initiatives. LLSF is committed to providing educational and spiritual opportunities through the practice of cultural traditions that meet the needs of Native Hawaiian populations in the areas of physical/emotional healing, healthy lifestyle, emerging education activities, and sacred site restoration. LLSF perpetuates peace and thanksgiving in all of nature’s living spirits by restoring Aloha Spirituality for all humanity and to alleviate world suffering and increase happiness. LLSF ministers to all people, spiritual beings, sacred lands and places through the legacies of Nu’uhiwa (Nu’u – to strive to the highest summits, and hiwa – the sacred time of darkness in the early morning with our ancestors, and day time for the secular. LLSF embodies Hiwahiwa Keiki or the sacredness and preciousness of all children.
Uncle Bruce Keaulani is the Kahuna and Chief Executive Officer of LLSF.
